HGV Class One Driver Full Time

HGV Class One Driver – 2 Years Experience Required.

Perm OTE: £56,000 PA

Ongoing Agency Rate: Agency Rate equivalent to £17.24ph* PAYE

Brit European have tramping vacancies available for an HGV Class One Driver – Hercules Tramper – this is for heavy transporter tramping work based in Grimsby.

Your shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 0500-0600 start (flexible with driver)
• This is a tramping role and involves 4 nights away from home per week

Your job:

• Transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK, using the latest generation of transporter equipment.
• Product loading and restraint.
• Completion of inspection and delivery documentation.
• Please note that this vehicle is fitted with a car transporter-sized cab.

What we need from you:

• HGV Class One licence
• Experience required: 2 Years
• In Date CPC & Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 points, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes.
• A good level of physical fitness. The job is exerting and involves working at height.

*Based on a 10-hour day our £17.24ph pay is broken down by: Monday to Friday £13.45ph, Overtime after 8 Hours £15.13ph, Meal Allowance £5.00 per day, Night Out £26.20, Plus £20 per day bonus.

We also pay £16.25ph for any overtime worked on Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holiday this would be additional to the average breakdown.
