HGV Technician Permanent

HGV Technician- 2+ Years Experience Required – Marchington – Permanent Role.

£19.29 per hour, plus enhancement payment of up to £300 per month based upon your qualification level

Monday – Friday

Rotating weekly shift pattern of 06:00 – 14:30 / 09:30 – 18:00 (40 hours per week)

Silver Arrow require an experienced HGV Technician to work for a prestigious main dealership based in the Marchington area.

Your Role:

• Carrying out servicing, inspections and maintenance to manufacturer standards
• Completing visual checks, adjustments, fluid replacements and replacing worn components
• Identifying defects and additional work required
• Performing repair work including component replacements and assembly tasks
• Supporting Systems Technicians with more complex repairs
• Retrofitting accessories and conducting start-up checks
• Resetting service indicators and ensuring accurate documentation
• Cleaning and caring for customer vehicles

What we need from you:

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV Maintenance & Repair (essential)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HGV or dealership workshop role
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• HGV Licence (desired)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused approach
• Structured, disciplined work style
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads
• Positive team mindset
